Dennis James was instrumental in assisting
me with all aspects of zDisk.com marketing which helped me reach
my goal of selling the company to McAfee.com Corp.
This included preparing the business plan and adding the strategies
required for our corporate marketing activities including corporate
positioning, public relations, print, media, and Web advertising,
direct marketing, and creative services to the operation of zDisk.com
and his final position as Vice President of MARCOM in May 2000.
Dennis worked closely with me and the VP of Business Development
to develop and position the company's corporate identity in the
market place as it related to the company's goals and operating
plans.
This included marketing projects such as marketing programs, PR,
collateral, package design, sales tools, print, media and web advertising,
direct mail and direct E-mail, and promotions. Dennis worked with
me to initiate, write, and release zDisk.com press releases, client
and product news, and related news items. He developed, recommended,
and monitored creative concepts, corporate messages, and marketing
positioning efforts for both the company and Web site.
Dennis also worked closely with vendors and contractors to ensure
Marketing deliverables were carried out. His experience was invaluable
in analyzing and evaluating marketing promotions and programs.
He is very knowledgeable about both traditional and Web marketing
and his recommendations for Marketing strategies, including joint
marketing programs, direct mail, inbound and outbound telemarketing;
tracking and preparing recap analysis for ROI on marketing programs
and projects proved profitable during the time zDisk.com was in
operation.
